💚 Gitcoin Grants is a valuable seasonal initiative designed to support early-stage web3 projects and web3 builders by combining crowdfunding with grants.
Gticoin has been a great platform for our members to showcase their projects.
🔈Here are the projects participating in the current round:
🎧 - dOrg Hot Seat Podcast
dOrg Hot Seat is participating in the Community and Education round program.
The dOrg Hot Seat is an audio-video podcast where we collectively interview tech leads and founders of top web3 projects. We get into the nitty-gritty details of web3 devs and tech spicy questions that enthusiasts want to hear!
The importance of this project relies on addressing the lack of easy-to-consume high-quality technical content for web3 builders and enthusiasts. We aim to empower web3 builders with valuable insights and education to better understand the technology behind the tools and infrastructure, to contribute in building better tech and having greater impact.
🪷 - Bloom Network
Bloom Network is participating in the Climate Solutions round program.
Bloom Network helps people discover and spearhead grassroots climate actions where they live, with the support of a platform owned and governed directly by them! With Local Hubs, local media feeds, and a peer-to-peer incubator powered by Web3, we empower people to start and grow projects from A to Z with the support of a passionate global community.
Today, we are 30,000 people strong on the ground in 26 Local Bloom Hubs across 11 countries, doing climate repair and adaptation as a voluntary network. We are scaling up global regeneration led by rooted local communities, and affixing permanent economic sovereignty!
*️⃣ - Asterisk DAO
Asterisk DAO is participating in the Community and Education round program.
Asterisk is a decentralized autonomous organization that aims to develop research equity for global women’s non-reproductive health. This grant will fund our development through the output of a completed whitepaper.
Asterisk’s mission is to address the disparities that hinder progressive research and funding for women’s non-reproductive healthcare.
Today, we are building a cross-disciplined global team that speaks to the needs of women in their constituent regions, breaking down assumptions that lead to narrow avenues of inquiry.
📜 - Lakat
Lakat is participating in the Web3 Open Source Software round program.
Lakat is a base layer for a publishing system that promotes collaboration, pluralism, and permissionless participation. Lakat supports continuous integration of scientific research across multiple branches through a proof-of-review consensus mechanism.
It integrates with the Ethereum ecosystem in several ways: Storage, tokens and proofs. The storage of content will be anchored in Ethereum through the ceramic protocol. Each branch has an option to interact with a branch token whose utility emerges from the usages within a branch.
Proofs of data submission will be deployed as contracts on Starknet, a zk-rollup over Ethereum. Lakat's architecture allows for the necessary flexibility to grow and to allow for the integration of existing reputation systems and incentive structures or facilitate the development of new ones.
